What is the best protein shake for a 17 year old soccer player to take to enhance performance?

Hi, so im a 17 year old soccer player that has been playing soccer since 1st grade, and i was wondering what would be the best protein or power shake to take? At the moment im running and lifting weights, and what I used to use was Muscle Milk, but I’ve read that we don’t just need protein but just as much vitamins and others as well.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Any good name brand protein powder has all the amino acids, so it doesn’t matter which one. For best performance always balance ALL of your meals like bodybuilders do. This includes your protein shakes. For max performance you should aim for roughly 50% GOOD carbs (not sugar or white flour products), 30% lean proteins (fats associated with protein are almost always BAD fats) and 20% GOOD fats, omega 3-6). Get your fats from flax seed oil, olive oil, natural peanut butter, avocados and salmon or tuna). Good fats do the opposite of bad fats, they actually help burn fat and build muscle because they are responsible for the release of testosterone and growth hormone. Nothing (natural) will enhance performance like these 2 anabolic hormones will, period!
