Styli-Style flat lip liner/stick…. How do you sharpen?

I bought two of these colors, and love them. I also bought the flat pencil sharpener… but I can’t figure out how to operate it >.< Please help.

ok so i have the flat liner sharper and there should be a piece of plastic in the sharpener where you would put your liner. take that out. then put your liner in and you have to twist it but kind of move the actual liner in a circle instead or twisting it around if that makes any sense. (sorry its kind of hard for me to describe what im trying to say)
